All medical students are required to have health insurance during their enrollment at Temple University School of Medicine. The University provides multiple levels of coverage through Independence Blue Cross. Coverage is from September 1, 2015 through August 31, 2016. Open enrollment will begin in September. If you have coverage through an outside source, you need to complete a health insurance waiver form which is available on line during the Open Enrollment period. Information about health insurance coverage also will be provided during orientation. You will not be able to enroll or waive until August. We will keep you informed about what you need to do.
